JOB TITLE PIAGET SDP Manager


REPORTING TO Commercial Director


LOCATION Seoul Korea


Summary of Position :


Reporting directly to PIAGET Commercial Director, Store Planning Manager is responsible for Boutique openings, Refurbishment Projects as well as maintenance for PIAGET’s Korea Market. This role will be the main point of contact between local Sales & Marketing Teams, local contractors, local architects and most importantly, Regional/Headquarter Departments. This role is not only to maximize PIAGET Brand exposure/visibility but also to build brand awareness and notoriety.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


Task 1 - Opening/Refurbishment of Internal/External Boutiques in Korea


  • Work directly with Region/Headquarter Store design & Planning Teams to ensure satisfying Global/Group guidelines.
  • Work closely with local Sales/Marketing Teams to prepare project brief including project budget, design concept, layout proposals and project timeline.
  • Review, qualify and negotiate with consultants, architects and other vendors in terms of Project planning, detailed design layout and Project deliver.
  • Liaised with relevant teams regarding to the operational environment and security regulation and any pre-design requirements.
  • Responsible for detailed drawings, finishing material confirmation, manufacturer review and delivery of imported materials, installation and on-site inspection.
  • Monitor and track plan submittals, permit applications and landlord approvals.
  • Manage local contractors and architects to ensure efficient, on-time and on-budget execution of each project.
  • Provide technical solutions and recommendation on fit-out works and architectural matters.
  • Maintain project timelines in detail and communicate with Region/Headquarter regarding updates in regular basis.
  • Ensure all project executions meet local legislative requirements.
  • Ensure projects are managed in a cost-effective manner by closely monitoring on quality control, budget control and payment process liaising with external consultants and related internal departments.

Task 2 - CAPEX Management


  • Participate in project budgeting in cooperation with Sales&Finance team to meet financial goals.
  • Supervise tender documents and processes and negotiate with each sub-vendor/contractors.
  • Follow up the actual costs of each project accordingly to the budget.
  • Conclude budgetary close-out of projects within acceptable time-frames.

Task 3 - Boutique Maintenance


  • Support the maintenance issues and analysis the data on the maintenance system.
  • Coordinate production Operation and maintenance manuals.
  • Supervising BTQ maintenance by managing local architects and contractors.
  • Manage maintenance budget allocation, cost follow-up according to the given budget.
  • Maintain the reusable interior stocks in proper level for further use/replacement.

Task 4 - Additional


  • Play a cross-functional role with Sales & Marketing Teams to provide technical plans and production support on fit-out work.
  • Participate in and pro-actively demonstrate knowledge and creativity in the context of improving PIAGET Brand and Boutique concept.
  • Evaluate the vendors/ contractors performance by projects to promote the work quality and share the regular update with local procurement.
  • Conduct reasonable site visits and store visits if required.
  • Work on ad-hoc projects as and when needed.

REQUIREMENTS


  • Minimum 5 years work experience in store planning preferably for a global luxury goods or Watch and Jewellery company
  • Degree or relevant professional qualifications in Interior design, Architecture or similar engineering background is strongly preferred
  • Strong in both verbal and written communication in English and Korean
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities and maintain a strong work ethic
  • Problem solving and process management skills in professional manners
  • Design and quality oriented with a strong insight for details
  • Proficient in Auto CAD, Excel, Words, Powerpoint, Photoshop tools (Preferred)
  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to work to own initiative and meet key deadlines
  • Flagship project management experience is a plus
