General Role

Develop proactive communication and promotional programs including internal and external communication activities. Provides support to Communication Director in implementing promotional activities, events, planning and executing of print/digital advertisement, assist in establishing customer target

Main responsibilities

1. PROMOTION AND EVENTS
  • Participates in the developing and planning of all communication activities
  • Planning and execution of Public Relations events including store opening, public exhibitions and etc.
  • Planning and execution of institutional and metiers events, including silk projects, watch/jewelry exhibition and so on, created by Hermès International
  • Coordinates with local suppliers and agencies to execute planned events
  • Works closely with Hermès International on providing local needs and feedback to conceptualise promotional material developments and plans
  • Prepares, creates, and distributes promotional materials such as invitations, leaflets, brochures
  • Prepares recap after each event to report to the HI team as well as analyse

2. CUSTOMER RELATIONS
  • Cooperates with store managers and commercial department ensuring target customers group for all promotional activities and events
  • Conducts customer base distribution for edition/print materials (ex, Le Monde d’Hermès and brochures)

3. AD (Print, digital and OOH)
  • Formulates annual print/digital media plan:
  • Selection on target print/digital media outlets and planning of media budget, position and frequency
  • Follow up on monthly execution, visual layout confirmation, printing quality valuation • Works closely with media agency for planning, execution, post report and updates on direct competitors’ activities
  • Supervise assistant manager on planning and executing the OOH with institutional campaign

4. OTHER SUPPORT
  • Participates and supports overall communication activities in association with Press and Exhibition Manager
  • Provides administrative support and timely reports for management review to Communication Director
  • Review communication activities expense, prepare expense reports and provide inputs for budgets

Profile

  • At least 10 years experience in relevant fields, such as promotions, event management and advertising
  • Interpersonal skills, to deal with a range of people in different roles, both inside and outside the organization
  • Able to analyse industry trends to determine the most promising strategies for the organization
  • Able to generate creative, innovative ideas and able to work under pressure
  • Strong execution skills required, proven track record will be a plus
  • Fluent in both spoken and written English.
